Steps to reproduce:
Created a new case, entered data, and selected Submit to Root Store.
Actual results:
Subsequently, identified a need to change data in the existing case. Changed data and selected Submit to Root Store and an error is presented stating the case has already been submitted.
Expected results:
When a Root Store Member is reviewing a case in CCADB and identifies a needed change in the data submitted by the CA owner, there should be an option to change the status from Verification by Root Store
back to CA Providing Data
. Doing so will notify the CA owner and allow them to edit case information and resubmit to the Root Store for processing.

This has been implemented and is now in production.
In the CASE PROGRESS tab there is now a field called "Case Request Status" that root store operators can change.
