Details

When launching a single Mozilla instance from a KDE desktop icon, an hourglass will launch in the application bar. Then a browser window will open with the addition of a second application bar item. The original Mozilla application bar item continues to attempt to launch an application window, but eventually times out and closes. This occurs on Mandrake 8.2 running KDE 2.2.2, and Mozilla 1.2b.
this is no Mozilla bug. If it'a anything, then it's a bed "app is already there"-detection in KDE.
