i ain't smart enough to give any real debugging info here as it just locks the browser (all open browser windows) stone cold. no error messages, no clues. i realize this is probably a known bug, but i couldn't find any specific references to it in bugzilla. the URL in question is http://www.mobileedge.co.uk i can open this page successfully with netscape 4.71 i'm running build 2002101612
Which version of the Flash plugin are you using in Netscape? What version are you using in Mozilla? Do you have music playing or arts or something like that running when this happens?
Netscape Version 4.7 Shockwave Flash 5.0 r47 Mozilla Build ID:2002101612 Shockwave Flash 5.0 r51 Java Plug-in 1.3.1_02-b02 running under KDE 3.01 no other apps running at the time of lockup, multimedia or otherwise.
Hmm... does the freeze also happen with the Flash 6 beta? (http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/special/beta/)
wfm with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Shockwave Flash 5.0 r51 Java(TM) Plug-in 1.3.1_01 I am running Gnome and have many apps open. Redhat 7.1
