Steps to reproduce:
I posted the following message in a news group:
3, 2, 1 punctuation marks and text following

.
TB 105 does it right.
Actual results:
That arrived in the news group:
3, 2, 1 punctuation marks and text following
..
.
Expected results:
The posting should have reached the news group unmodified as it is stored in the sent folder.
Besides, TB Mail does it the correct way.

Yes, 1787955 describes the same bug.
Could not find the bug due to language discrepancies.
