Steps to reproduce:

Tried to double-click on an article in my history.

Accidentally triple-clicked.
Actual results:

The history window disappeared after 2 clicks,

I couldn't react in time and the 3rd click hit a Google Maps link...

Google Maps loaded, so I got a migraine.
Expected results:
I can understand hiding the History and Bookmarks Libraries after the double-click, but maybe a delay before enabling additional mouse clicks would help...

Doing this kind of detection across different windows is really really complicate, and we are unllikely to be able to do it.
In the future if the Library moves to a tab (as is in our long term plans) then you shjould be able to flip the loadBookmarksInBackground config option, and that would keep the Library focused.
I must notice that the same kind of issues also exists at the operating system level, indeed I was able to double click an image and my third click ended up in the app that showed the image.
So as of now this is a wontfix, it will likely have a workaround in the future.
