@Josh -- What are your thoughts on this one? Something to think about for a follow up iteration. If possible, would it improve the UX if we added a menu option to move the icon back to its original location? Rather than relying on the user to drag it back.

Bug 1787797 solves this when the Firefox View entry point is removed entirely. I'm not entirely sure where we could put a menu item that would feel coherent/intuitive.
We could add a messaging ribbon at the top of Fx View when we notice it's not in it's original location which gives the user to restore it back to it's original location but is also dismissable. That way if a user wants to restore position they can but if a user preferred the new placement we aren't persistently bugging them to move it back.

Actually, we could add a contextual menu item to the right click menu while in the overflow menu or in the toolbar which reads "Restore to tabstrip" and then not have the ribbon messaging. I retract what I said about there not being an intuitive place for this

Aligned to this as part of our fast follow phase. This would improve the experience.

Yep. Sorry for my original wording on that. But what you're suggesting is what I was getting at - thanks!

sorry, can i pick this up?
This isn't a mentored bug and I don't think it's ready to be picked up. There should be some more conversation about what the right solution is.
