Steps to reproduce:

Simply lunched Firefox and/or Thunderbird when needed.

Actual results:

False, bad and noncomprehensive characters when lunching either Firefox and/or Thunderbird.

Expected results:

All text should be done with french or english normal characters.

Which locale / language is Thunderbird installed?

Thunderbird and Firefox were both installed in french.
Both have the same problem of displaying incorrect characters on start page.
My english is not very good. Hard for me to understand.
Please tell me exactly what to do to fix the problem.
