Steps to reproduce:
I created a single event with notification.
Notification appears as expected.
Actual results:
When I try to confirm the event alarm / notification regardless with "close", "close all" or "remind me later in..." the popup doesn't disappear. But buttons are greyed out.
Only way to close is the "x" in the upper right corner. But it will popup again after some minutes! That's very annoying!
Expected results:
The event alarm / notification popup should disappear after confirmation.

As I understand it, and that's happening here for me (Ubuntu 22.04, Thunderbird by now on version 102.5, CalDAV calendar backend) is that we can snooze or dismiss the reminders but once the reminder(s) are gone, the reminder Window itself (although empty) stays open and needs to be closed manually by clicking the (X) in the upper right corner.
This behaviour has started at some stage within the 102.x lifecycle. It was not there initially after the version upgrade from former TB version 91 to 102. It started at some later stage (102.x) and definitely before the 102.5 version.

Reporter,
Does this issue still reproduce for you when using version 102.6.1 or newer?
If yes, please provide additional details (type of calendar, etc).
Thanks

Adding some experience here (although not the original reporter): The issue continues on my TB 102.6.1 64bit installation on Ubuntu 22.04 as described earlier (CalDAV server backend is SOGo).
On the same laptop, I am sometimes running the current Thunderbird beta version to see where development is going and to test it with our existing server backend. To use this version for testing, I ensure to close the "production" TB and then start the beta TB.
The beta TB version in use is currently 109.0b3 (64 bit). I just initiated a calendar reminder test with this version and can report that the issue is not happening any longer there! I tested two scenarios successfully - first test was to use the dismiss button for the single reminder and the reminder window closed itself as it should. Second, later test was also for a single event reminder but I used the "dismiss all" button and the reminder window closed automatically as it should.
It looks like that somewhere between TB 102.6.1 and the 109.0b3 version, that issue has been resolved.
Hope that helps.
Michael
Hi Wayne,
currently it works in my TB 102.6.1 on Win10 21H2.
I can't remember when I got the reported behavior last time, seems to be solved some time ago.
When it happens again in future I'll write here the details or report it again.
Thanks so far,
Daniel
