Details

If a image from a particular server has been blocked, it will sometimes show up out of place as a gray box, covering all text/images beneath it. This most often occurs when the page being loaded does not start at the top of the page. The gray box will appear where the image would have been if the page was loaded normally. Moving to another application will cause the area to turn white. But if you scroll down or up enough so it is no longer showing and then scroll back it will be gray once more. Refreshing the window will remove the gray area.
(This was found using Mozilla 1.1 for PowerPC.) This bug seems to be a little different than at first thought. * This only occurs when the page is loaded in a new tab or window (and the page loaded starts somewhere other than the top of the document). * The gray box DOES NOT disappear with a refresh. * Moving to another application (or minimizing the window) changes the gray area to white. Scrolling down or up and then back will change it back to gray. However, clicking in the scrolling area down and then up leaves it white. * If you unblock the image, close the tab, and then reopen the link in a new tab the gray box will still be there. If the image changes, these changes will slowly take effect. If you minimize the window, the image will show up completely, but still out of place.
Checking the latest build (2002110708), this does not seem to be a problem. Perhaps this bug was already posted and I missed it? Sorry for the trouble.
