Affected versions

  • 106.0a1

Affected platforms

  • macOS 12
  • Windows 11
  • Ubuntu 22.04

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch FF .
  2. Go to Firefox View section.
  3. Click anywhere on Recently closed to expand/collapse the section.

Expected result

  • The Recently Closed title remains in a locked position when expanding/collapsing the section.

Actual result

  • The Recently Closed title changes position for each expand/collapse actions.

Regression range

  • New Feature

Notes

  • This issue is especially obvious if Tab Pickup is not populated and no sync account is logged in.
  • The behaviour is also different for different window sizes (especially maximised window size.)
  • Improving this would greatly benefit the overall aesthetics of the page and increase the overall UX quality.
  • As a user, I expect the titles of the sections to remain in a locked position when expanding or collapsing their respective contents
