Using the quick search breaks emails sorting; this persists after cancelling the search

When typing in the quick search to search for emails, it breaks the sorting (for me the most recent emails first) and change it to something else. This behavior persists after cancelling the search.
This is a regression and didn't behave like that before.

Which version are you using, and what worked? I don't recall anything changing about this for many years.

Latest stable packaged on Arch:
Version : 102.2.0-1
Excepted if I'm extremely wrong but to my knowledge up until recently when you started typing in the quicksearch field, it was indeed filtering the emails to only shows those matching what you typed, but it was keeping them sorted the exact same way as before you typed (in my case, by date, the most recent being on top). Here, it seemed to put the oldest first and might also be a little bit unsorted i-between, I'm not sure due to how threads' dates are shown.
