1790417 - can't resize calendar pane to be smaller than longest calendar name (problem with super long calendar names)

Steps to reproduce:

Open Calendar, left hand pane with calendar and linked calendars list takes up half of client window with event calendar in the right half. Click and drag the divider to resize the left hand pane.

Actual results:

The divider mmediately jumps all the way to the left hiding the calendar and link calendar list. Re-sizing only allows all, half or nothing.

The attached screen shot shows the original sizing.

Expected results:

I should be able to drag the divider to my desired size for each pane.

It's because that gigantic calendar name can't wrap around. Can you not rename it?

Ok, that gives me a way to workaround it but this was NOT an issue before the update. So, I would propose that this is still a bug since I should be able to resize the window even if it cuts off the very long name . . .

Sorry, meant to add that I can confirm that changing the calendar name allows a smaller size for the pane. The pane size is now limited by the calendar itself at the top which is fine. It shouldn't be cut off.

poetzscd, have you tried Thunderbird 115 and do you still experience this issue? I can no longer reproduce this issue with Thunderbird 115 on macOS.
