The contents of the location field of bookmark properties can become corrupt.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do a bugzilla.mozilla.org search and bookmark the resulting (gigantic) URL
2. Go to manage bookmarks/properties of that bookmark
3. Click on any part of the location field and type any letter
(or arrow across to the right until you get to the right edge of the field and
then hit right arrow once more for same effect)


Actual Results:  
Location field was corrupted. See screen shot.


When I saw this is reproducible every time, it's only for Bugzilla's massive URLs.

WFM build 2002110708 (Modern). Could you please try a newer build, this might
have been a temporary glitch, or it may only affect the classic theme (juding by
the screenshots, this is what you use).

Mozilla is rather bloated (11MB takes some time to download over a modem) and it
crashes quite a bit for me. I was hoping a full, feedback-agent-enabled, version
would have been out by now. I'll download that when it appears.

Please reopen when you have a new build to test with.

FYI, all versions are talkback enabled, and you can run the web installer to cut
out some of the 11 MB.

If you have specific crashing issues, please log another bug once you get the
new build.

Still happens for me.

If it helps, the text corruption disappears immediately I click on any part of
any window outside the location data entry field.

Much weirdness is afoot here. I tried another profile and it doesn't now happen
in either the new profile or the old one!
