We currently don't have any telemetry for the number of zones. It would be useful to know the total number of zones and the number collected by zone GCs. This would tell us how effective zone GCs are and how useful zones are overall.

Yes.

Yes. This collection is Telemetry so can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences.

Yes, Jon Coppeard is responsible.

Category 1, Technical.

Default on for all channels.
