Steps to reproduce:
Clicking on another day or date in the calendar changes the color of an event to an incorrect color.
Actual results:
Sometimes the color of an event in the Today Pane changes to an incorrect color (e.g. birthdays which are normally red changes to blue) when clicking on a day or date in the calendar. Closing the Calendar or clicking on various calendar features will usually bring back the correct event color in the Today Pane.
Expected results:
The events should always remain the color that is chosen for the event and not change when a day or date in the calendar is clicked.

Today Pane acts weird - by clicking on a red Birthday event in the Today Pane the red event turns to blue. Only after closing the calendar and starting it again does it revert back to the correct red color for birthdays.

This sounds to me like it is just the coloring when an event is selected. Clicking on another event should at least revert the coloring from blue to its original color.

Correct, clicking on another event reverts the changed color back to the event's original color.

Correct, clicking on another event reverts the changed color back to the event's original color.
Are you still considering this a bug then?

No, I am not personally still considering this a bug - and can live with the results - if the team is okay with an event changing from its original color to another color when an event is clicked on.
