The regression range is: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=781a227d991be7cb01ef304dffadb5c3be9ff6c8&tochange=d60e2e18c05d5810a12582476e7c8a135447080c
I scheduled a new benchmark run on https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=autoland&revision=7284cca9b5383e03ea15e36f2a899c854169a9cd to bisect from where the issue is coming from.

Nicolas were you able to look at the results of the benchmark run you scheduled?

Checking Perfherder, I see no regression on the revision where I scheduled more runs. Therefore this is not a JS engine issue.
The new regression range is: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=7284cca9b5383e03ea15e36f2a899c854169a9cd&tochange=d60e2e18c05d5810a12582476e7c8a135447080c
I will also note that the regression seems to be gone, after one of these changes: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=9239a20afb93cb8ef1aac08724a94d753880715d&tochange=cd5d63c09e50668b9b289f433b412970b20845da
However, I do not see any explanation for this improvement either.
We can either continue to bisect or close it, I suspect.

This does not sounds like a JavaScript engine issue after all.
You can keep investigating by scheduling new benchmarks or close this bug as the regression seems to be gone.
