User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.2; Mac_PowerPC) Build Identifier: Chimera 0.6.0 page txt fields Any website that I go to in Chimera will not allow me to type in any of the page's text boxes (i.e. for searching, account information, like this box). I tried nearly every popular search site I could think of (Hotbot, excite, yahoo, etc.) I also tried Apple's and Hotmail\'s websites and all of these had the same problem. I was able to click on the field to bring up the place marker (verticle blinking line) but when I began to type no text would appear nor would the place marker move. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to any site with a text field for searching, adding information, etc. 2.Click on a text field. 3.Attempt to enter text Actual Results: No text was entered into the field even though it was selected. Expected Results: Expected to have text apear as it was typed in. Useing a Powerbook G4 running 10.1.5 useing Chimira 0.6.0 build 2002110415
WorksForMe using Chimera/2002110804 on 10.1.5.
I have been using Chimera builds on a daily basis to enter data into web forms. I have never had this problem. Most recently (working fine): 2002111504 and 10.2.2
Reporter: what Input menu settings were you using at the time? Obviously, typing in input fields works for almost everyone else. Marking this WFM; reopen if you can still reproduce it.
