User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:104.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/104.0
Steps to reproduce:
-Open Firefox
-Hit Ctrl+S
Actual results:
Opens an infinite number of save-file dialogs: actually opens a large amount, and they keep popping up as I close them.
This happens only if I use the Ctrl+S shortcut. It works find if I go to the menu and click "Save as". I tried to see if this was an issue with my system (Ubuntu 22.04), but could not reproduce the problem with other programs. I tried creating a new Profile, but this still happens. I use the flatpak distribution of Firefox, but the same happens with the Snap package.
On the attached screenshot, you can see the very dark shadow around the save-file dialog, indicating that there are in fact a huge number of them stacked on top of one another.
Expected results:
Should open one save-file dialog.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I also have this issue (ubuntu snap v106.0.2 x64), here how to reliably reproduce it:
- Open any webpage/pdf
- Press CTRL+S and hold down S until the dialog appears
- You can see the black outline of the dialog and a very slow system indicating that you have a lot of save-dialogs open now
For anyone having the issue:
Click on the dialog and then hold down ESC, this will close them almost as fast. Sometimes you have to click on the dialog again because it lost focus.

I think this affects both snap/flatpak and it's caused by portals.
