RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1792102

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0

Steps to reproduce:

I have a profile where I automatically check for new POP3 messages, fetch headers only and leave them on the server until I delete them. I do not save messages with this profile.

I have a second profile where I only get messages manually and download the complete message.

The intent is to use the first profile to get rid of the junk before actually loading the messages onto my client with the second profile.

Actual results:

I use the first profile, get a bunch of email messages I don't want and delete them. I then run Get Messages again to initiate the delete.

When I use my second profile to manually get messages I want for an account, it is finding all the emails which should have been deleted by the first profile.

Expected results:

The emails should have been deleted from the server.

Checking the server using their web client I could see all the emails still there.

Note: I've been using this method for years. This issue just stated with version 102.3.0. My other PC using version 102.2.2 does not exhibit this problem.

Thanks Bruno, several people have reported this. We'll look into that in bug 1792102.
