Steps to reproduce:

Create new network calendar using https://calendar.fedoraproject.org//ical/QA/ as source.

To rule out any issues with the calendar itself, I also imported the calendar in Mailfence, where times were correctly converted to my local time zone.

Actual results:

Times are shown in time zone native to calendar. In this case they are in the EST time zone.

Expected results:

Times converted to local time zone specified in Thunderbird.

I have some more observations to share.

Creating a new calendar with source https://calendar.fedoraproject.org//ical/infrastructure/ shows meeting times correctly.
Importing the QA calendar by opening the exported file (Fedora Calendars has an export function) results in the same behavior.

I took a brief look at both files, but failed to notice anything different that may cause this (mis)behavior.

Similar (or same) issue with me (TB 102.8.0, 64bit, german). When importing an ics-calendar entry, e.g. after creating a new Zoom invitation, the time zone shown in the "invite other persons" sometimes shows GMT time, and sometimes our local CET (GMT+1). I haven't found out in which situations the calendar interprets a time as GMT or as CET.

see my comment on wrong time zone of just now.
