On Macintosh, filenames can be maximum, only 31 characters long.
In JavaDOM we have filenames which are more than 31.

e.g: org_mozilla_dom_ProcessingInstructionImpl.cpp
     org_mozilla_dom_DOMImplementationImpl.cpp

Suggestion. Try jaring up the classfiles and add the jar file to your classpath
on the mac.
Woops. Sorry. I didn't realize that these were C++ files. I guess the only thing
you can do is to set the name of the C++ file.
NOTE: just changed primary QA contact person.(everything else remains the same)

Ashu is taking ownership of JavaDOM. Re-assigning this bug to him.

Oops! My bad; I meant Ashu, not Raghu. Doh! Sorry, Raghu.

see bug 38028. Limit is now 255 if we can get MacCVSPro fixed.
Mozilla CFM build is dead; should this bug go with it?

Long file names work in OS X and Mach-O.

OS 8/9 is WONTFIX.
