[Affected Platforms]:

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have a screen reader software installed and opened (e.g.: Orca).

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the browser from the prerequisites.
  2. Navigate on the firefox View page and click the “See what’s new” button to trigger the “Tab Pickup” callout message.

[Expected result]:

  • The progress bar from the “Tab Pickup” callout message is successfully read by the screen reader.

[Actual result]:

  • The progress bar from the “Tab Pickup” callout message is read as “level bar”.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is reproducible also on “Recently Closed” and “Colorways” callout messages.
  • This issue is not reproducible on Windows and macOS.
