User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
loaded page with CSS containing "backdrop-filter: blur(0.25rem)"
also contains "-webkit-backdrop-filter: blur(0.25rem)"
Actual results:
blur effect did not work, and the inspector shows warning: "Invalid Property Name" next to both properties. Compatibility tab shows issue that it should be prefixed.
Expected results:
backdrop-filter should be compatible since 103, and should work or at the very least not be interpreted as an invalid property.

This is weird. I launched an MDN page with this property but everything seems to be in order.
103 from mozregression seems to work fine too: mozregression --launch 103 -a https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/backdrop-filter
:jwalker083, can you still reproduce this? Is it possible for you to disclose the page? Potentially, try from a fresh profile launched through about:profiles?

Bug 1785366 blocked backdrop-filter in some GPUs, that might be what you're seeing, perhaps.

It looks like software webrender is being used and not the blocked hardware.

I'm still having the issue after checking again. On the linked MDN page, the example wouldn't load either. I'll see if I can share the page.

I have also tried on two different Windows 10x64 machines with Firefox 105.0.3 while having gfx.webrender.software:true and the CSS backdrop filter from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/backdrop-filter is displayed as expected. If more investigation is needed please let me know. Thank you!

Maybe it's failing because of this:
"adapterDescription": "Parallels Display Adapter (WDDM)",
We should probably not care about that for SWWR though.

Looks like driverVersion is an empty string. I guess that makes ParseDriverVersion fail, since that's the only place that returns FEATURE_FAILURE_PARSE_DRIVER from what I can see.
Perhaps we shouldn't try parse driver version if sw-wr is enabled?
