User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
Go and stream a video on a Mac with a cut out, mine is the Macbook Air M2, and watch it fullscreen.
Actual results:
it actually shrinks the video and leaves two black bars on the side.
Expected results:
If you watcha video on Safari, it actually zooms in on the sides and the video appears bigger.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello, it's not specific to a type of video, but just a problem when you go fullscreen in Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc.
I watched Modern Family on Disney +, made it smaller
Try this vid on YT : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ck1d6qo8a0
Also, this is specific to Macbook Air M2 screen

That video is 1920x1080. On a 2560x1664 display, we'd expect black bars at the top and bottom, but not on the sides.
If you load https://davidwalsh.name/demo/fullscreen.php and click "Launch Fullscreen", then are there any black bars?

Yes, the top line is blanked out which is fine, but the two sides are removed.
