User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
I created a new install test site of Chevereto V 4.0.1 and found that I could not log in with Firefox on Windows 11 and Android (both updated to the latest versions). I had no trouble logging in with Firefox on a Macbook Pro and on both Windows and Android I could log in with Chrome.
Curiously it works with Firefox Focus on Android and in "Private" browser windows on both Windows and Android
▶ Reproduction steps
open website in Firefox, register as new user (requires email confirmation)
After confirmation go to login page. Enter username and password
Actual results:
😢 Unexpected result
Returns to login panel
Expected results:
Site opens for user
Now seems to be OK with Firefox for Android. May have been a cache problem.
Still giving problems with Firefox on Windows 11.

Hello Peter! Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue on the webpage from comment 1 with Firefox 107.0a1 (2022-10-13) and Firefox 105.0.3 on Windows 10x64 and Windows 11x64. After creating an account and confirming the email I can log in successfully (please see the attached screen recording).
Maybe these options would help: Clear your cookies and cache or Create a new Firefox profile. Thank you!

Peter any news on this? It seems that the test webpage from comment 1 is no longer working.
Thank you all.
The problem has now been resolved and the test site is no longer active.
It seems that there was a server side problem to do with a session variable. I have no idea why it seemed to work with other browsers, probably because it created a new session instead of storing a session in cache (either Firefox or server cache). It also seemed to be somehow related to the IP address of my router because restarting the router and getting a new IP address from my service provider also had an effect.
The sever location of the session variable under PHP v 8.x was setup incorrectly and in conflict with the location setup in Chevereto. Once this was resolved the login issue was resolved.
In any case it was not a fault related directly to Firefox.
Thanks once again for the advice and testing.
Peter
