User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0
Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird 102.3.3 (this issues started with 102.0 for me) on Windows 10.
- Inbox folder of account 1 is open (it could also be any folder of account 2, as long as it's not the inbox)
- Receive new mail on account 2
- Click on the new mail notification to bring up the Thunderbird window
Actual results:
You now see the inbox folder of account 1 (or whatever folder was open in step 1), but all the mail titles, dates, etc. are empty.
Expected results:
Thunderbird should jump to the inbox view of account 2 and highlight the newly-received mail, as it used to in previous versions.

Does this also reproduce when using version 115 started in Help > Troubleshoot Mode?
If it does, and you have not already done so, please list complete steps to reproduce.
It seems like the way this feature works was changed in Firefox 115, no longer opening the inbox in which the mail is contained but rather opening the mail directly. So I guess in a way the original bug report can be considered fixed, although I'm not particularly a fan of the new behaviour (I'd rather not open mails that I know are spam / phishing, but this makes it way too easy to accidentally open them when a notification pops up).
