Steps to reproduce:

Install 108.0a1 (2022-10-19)

Actual results:

open settings > search
the list of default search engine is empty and can not be set
as well as search shortcuts list is empty of search engines

installing i.e. duckduckgo doesn not add a search engine

Expected results:

downgrading to 108.0a1 (2022-10-18) gives me all search engines again
