Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826
Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.2b/mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.2b-sea.tar.gz
Newly created subfolder temporarily showed up after creation. When Mozilla
restarted, the subfolder was not shown in listing of folders. I checked using a
shell and the folder and subfolder were on the hard drive. Mozilla refused to
make the subfolder available.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create new folder
2.Create a subfolder of that folder
3.Restart Mozilla and subfolder doesn't show
Actual Results:
Subfolder was not shown
Expected Results:
Subfolder should have been available via a drop down arrow/icon next to parent
folder. This arrow/icon was not shown. No obvious way to get to subfolder
existed in the Mail Frontend windows.
Running SuSE 8.0 with SuSE provided patches. Behavior described as problem is
not evident in Mozilla 1.1 only 1.2 beta I downloaded. I wanted to upgrade and
check out 1.2 but my old mail directory subfolders weren't recognized properly,
nor could I get new subfolders to be accessible after a restart of Mozilla.
By the way, thanks for all your hard work! Your doing a service for humanity.
