Steps to reproduce:

On my 1080p device using the official Firefox release under Fedora 36 I don't get any streaming options above 1080p. In Google Chrome all the resolutions are available.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::JavaScript Engine' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → JavaScript Engine
Product: Firefox → Core

Sample stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zemvr1H5ais

Chrome: 1440p and 4K streams available.
Firefox: up to 1080p

This is reproducible with media.ffmpeg.vaapi.enabled=true.

As soon as you disable/reset this option, higher quality streams become available.

Never mind it's a problem with my add-on.
