Steps to reproduce

  1. Reach Firefox View or the New Tab + buttons using Shift + Tab.
  2. Hit Enter on the Keyboard in order to select them.

Expected result

  • User should be able to select those buttons using the Enter key

Actual result

  • On Mac OS users can only use the Space key in order to select the Firefox View or New Tab + button.
    Please note that this issue does not occur on Windows.
    Also note that in older builds the user cant even reach the New Tab + button and Firefox View is a recent feature.

This is the case for all toolbar buttons (see also e.g. reload/stop) and is expected on macOS. It is how buttons on that platform behave generally.
