Details
(Whiteboard: [qa-triaged])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 12; Mobile; rv:106.0) Gecko/106.0 Firefox/106.0
Steps to reproduce:
Downloading a file in regular browsing mode.
Actual results:
The link is passed to Incognito Browser (Fenix port, separate app) and cannot be downloaded (incidental extra behaviour, but this is due to that browser's policies). This doesn't happen every time.
Expected results:
File should have been downloaded in Firefox for Android/ Fenix.

Thank you for the report!
I was not able to reproduce this on the latest Android versions: Nightly 118.0a1 from 8/24, RC 117.0, nor on Beta 117.0b9.
I tested with: Oppo Find X3 Lite (Android 11), Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9), and Google Pixel 6 (Android 14).
Could you retry testing, and provide us more accurate steps to reproduce, the device you've encountered this on, and maybe a short video?

:jonalmeida, since the bug has recent activity, could you have a look please?

This looks like a bug that is only reproducible on a Fenix port based on comment 1 and we haven't heard back from the reporter, so closing for now.

Sorry for the radio silence.
I uninstalled the app not long after my problem but attempted to find it again recently once I noticed replies to my report were being made. I can only assume I have the same app installed now as I did then. From memory it does have a similar (if not the same) icon but it's hard to tell exactly because obscure ports come and go on the App Store, mostly because they're made to serve ads! It would have helped if I'd linked to it in my original post too.
Anyway, the problem hasn't resurfaced after a few weeks of it being on my phone again(?) so that's the main thing.
