The error was

abort: push failed on remote
I'm going to try to figure out if this was intermittent or a new key I need to update for.

I think this is a remote hg server issue, and that the failing to add host key is unrelated. Sheehan, do you recognize it?

I think you tried to push to try while it was closed due to an infra problem this morning. There should have been an error message outlining why the treeclosure hook failed just above the text you posted.

Yup, that sounds right - thanks. Unfortunately that error text (I believe it's put to stdout?) was truncated. I'm hoping https://github.com/mozilla-services/updatebot/issues/291 will fix that issue.
I'm going to resolve this as invalid, and Updatebot will come back next week, and by then hopefully the try preset fix will be deployed
