179732 - .reg .exe file handling incorrect/questionable

On above url, I was trying to click on one of the .reg entries to download
it.  It displayed it as text which was fine, but then when doing a File SaveAs,
it would ask for destination, but then save nothing.

.exe file links appeared to do nothing

The desired behavior would be to have it 'opened', 'viewed', or 'saveas'.

In IE6, I get option to execute or save -- which was fine -- as I wanted
to save it -- though doing an 'open' in IE would have read in the .reg
entry and not viewed it -- I'd prefer a default to view...

Either way, saveas, didn't.

It displays as text because the server send (text/plain for that file.

YOu can't save.

a) Always read the release notes before you file a bug
b) always search before you file a bug.
c) if possible visit QA/Freuqnelty reported bugs
