Fastmail automatic account settings do not work (yet)

Steps to reproduce:
I used Thunderbird 102.4.0(64bit) to try to set up and then log into an existing Fastmail account
Actual results:
The automatic settings for Fastmail Tb gave me were incorrect (i have it working in an earlier version).
The incorrect automatic setting is imap.fastmail.com.
The setting that works is mail.messagingengine.com
Expected results:
It does not connect with the old settings (it hangs), it works with the new settings.
I have just had an email from Fastmail saying that it did not not log in because i need an 'App password'. It seems that this app password allows access to all features of the Fastmail account e.g. setting up new users etc. However, the settings above work OK for just reading/writing emails, using my normal account password.

imap.fastmail.com is correct. IIRC the other one is not for common usage, but something that only works for very old accounts.
