Steps to reproduce:
After connecting to my work VPN (Cisco AnyConnect, version 4.10.05111, and versions for the last few years), at some point usually 5-20 minutes later Firefox address bar will simply stop working. Anything typed into it won't load, any searches typed into it (which go through google) won't search.
The temporary solution is to close Firefox and reopen Firefox. However, 5-20 minutes later, I will get the same result: the address bar stops working again.
Other solution is to switch to Chrome, which doesn't stop working at any point when on my work VPN.
I have had this issue for at least a year, probably 2 years, and I'm finally sick enough of it to make a bug report.
User agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0
System: Windows 10, Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044, on a Dell laptop
Firefox version: 106.0.3, 64bit, currently up-to-date
Actual results:
Address bar stops working at a random time after connecting to Cisco VPN.
Expected results:
Address bar doesn't stop working.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I was not able to reproduce this issue with my work VPN(SonicWall Mobile Connect) on my machine MacOS 11.6 using Fx 107.0b7.
Can you please try to reproduce this issue on troubleshoot mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode or with new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles#w_creating-a-profile ?
