Settings >Calendar > Events & Tasks
In this area certain selections are clear about which area they effect.
eg: Default 'Event and Task' Length xx minutes

Selections for 'Start Date' and 'Due Date' eg: Tomorrow
No matter what selection is made it has no effect when selecting 'New Event'.
However, these settings do work when selecting 'New Task'.
But this section does not state whether it is for 'Events' or 'Tasks' or both

Expect:
If it does not state eg: 'Event' or 'Task' then it would be reasonable to expect it to effect both. It becomes ambiguous.

Therefore Either :

  • the settings should work for both Event and Task in which case there is a bug
    OR
  • settings state clearly 'Task Start Date' and 'Task Due Date' in which case this is an enhancement request to improve clarity.
