Please implement a mechanism to check hourly that the ALV in CCADB production is running correctly. e.g. send a dummy ALV call hourly to make sure we get the expected results back.

Product: NSS → CA Program

My recollection is that we decided not to do this. Instead we will implement a notice that gets sent when someone tries to run ALV from the CCADB and it fails to connect.

Following changes have been implemented:

  1. When ALV is called from a Case and a service failure is detected, a message is display on screen and an email is sent to 'CCADB Support' & 'CCADB Admin'

  2. If ALV failure is detected by the nightly batch program (validates audits on intermediate certs), an email is sent to 'CCADB Support' & 'CCADB Admin'. If there are more than one intermediate cert in the batch, multiple emails will be sent out.
