Perhaps this bug is related to bug 166524 (which was fixed last month). When
pressing DELETE the cursor jumps to the start of the message. 

This happens notably in bulleted lists

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.edit a message
2.press delete
3.

Actual Results:  
cursor jumped to start of message

Expected Results:  
deleted the appropriate charachter / html code 

no data loss, but can be pretty annoying
resembles bug 141417
It does resemble that bug, but it happens to me not only at the end of a message.
