User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0

Steps to reproduce:

Sign in to tax website (here in Canada).

Actual results:

Letters are being imposed on each other. Some of the words being shown should not be displayed at all (I see stuff like "account_circle").

Expected results:

Website should display normally with normal formatting.
I tried this on safari and it worked well on there. I am not sure if it is a firefox issue or if it is the fault of the website.

Hi,

I have tested your issue on latest FF release 106.0.3, Beta 107.0b8 and latest Nightly build 108.0a1 (2022-11-02) and could not reproduce it using macOS 10.15. Tested without being signed in to that website since creating a test account there seems to be a little complicated.
If the issue is still reproducible on your end, can you please retest this using latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8) to eliminate the potential causes.
I will assign a component so the developers can take a look over it. If this is not the correct component, feel free to change it to a more appropriate one.

Thanks for the report.

This looks to me like a webfont the site wants to use for icons is failing to load.

In the Firefox preferences, under Language and Appearance / Fonts, click the Advanced button and check if the setting "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" has been disabled. If so, re-enable it (turn on the checkbox) and then try visiting the tax site again.

Hey, I just tried this suggestion and it fixed it!

Thank you!
