Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/2022/11/2022-11-03-09-53-49-mozilla-central/
  2. Click on a link such as firefox-108.0a1.en-US.win64.zip, firefox-108.0a1.en-US.win64.installer.exe etc.

Actual results:
The download begins, but often it fails shortly after.
You will have to retry to download correctly.

No error in browser console.

Expected Results:
It should download correctly without retry.

I tried to retrieve the http log with the following environment variables set, but the download completes successfully(I can not reproduce the issue).
After removing the environment variable, the download fails again.

set MOZ_LOG=timestamp,rotate:200,nsHttp:5,cache2:5,nsSocketTransport:5,nsHostResolver:5
set MOZ_LOG_FILE=%TEMP%\log.txt

If turn on Ask whether to open or save files in about:preferences.

An alert box pops up.

D:\fuku\downloads\6VyQjN2b.zip.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

So, this seems to be serverside issue.
