Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0

Steps to reproduce:

Here I have two displays with different resolutions (2560x1440, 1920x1080). Especially after I moved the firefox windows from one display to another (where the firefox window has to be resized, not reproducible), I observe an unusual behavior:

  • In my webmail client, I cannot drag and drop an email to another folder anymore
  • I cannot move the firefox window by clicking on the title bar and drag it, eg. to the other display
  • tabs can not be rearranged by drag and drop anymore

If I move one tab (e.g. with my opened webmail client) to a new window, this new window behaves as expected – at least for a while.

I'm using firefox in this version:

  • Name Firefox
  • Version 106.0.3
  • Build-ID 20221101125705
  • Distributions-ID canonical-002
  • User-Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0
  • OS Linux 5.15.0-52-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 13 08:03:55 UTC 2022
  • OS-Theme Yaru / Yaru
  • Program file /snap/firefox/2047/usr/lib/firefox/firefox
