I also receive an error when trying to paste images copied locally on my computer to Firefox. I could reproduce this on Ubuntu 20.04 and macOS 11.7 using the latest Firefox 102.8.0 esr, Firefox 109.0.1, Firefox 110 Beta, and the latest Nightly 111.0a1.
Steps to reproduce:
- Copy an image that is saved locally on your computer.
- On Firefox, reach imgur.com and paste the image.
Actual results: The image is not uploaded and an error stating that the URL is invalid is received.
I'm changing the title to reflect this. In case this is a different issue, please let me know and I'll file a new issue to cover this new scenario.

I can no longer reproduce this issue with Nightly Fx 129 or Fx 127, on Win11. I verified that the issue was reproducible when I tested with Fx 102.
Hi Simona Badau, is this still reproducible to you?
