The webcompat extensions are using the applications attribute in the manifest.json which is now deprecated with Manifest V3.

See firefox-dev announcement: https://groups.google.com/a/mozilla.org/g/firefox-dev/c/3dDpL-WFm78

cc'd some of the some of the webcompat team that maintain the webcompat addons in firefox-android here.

Severity: -- → S3

The code's home is actually a GitHub repo, and we also export the sources into mozilla-central, so this isn't Mobile-specific.

I'll move this bug into our component and assign myself, this should be an easy fix, but I want do do some careful testing first :)

Submitted a PR for the interventions addon, which will ride the 108 train. I'll submit a PR to a-c with the updated reporter sources as soon as I can.

I've linked PRs for the interventions upstream source, and the PR for Fenix. The in-central reporter has been adjusted by bug 1797777. Nothing left to do here.
