User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021113 Chimera/0.6+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021113 Chimera/0.6+ When expanding and closing folders in the history sidebar (by using the disclosure triangles), I find there are long hangs (20-30 seconds) before the folder is a) actually openned and b) the browser starts responding to input again. The same delay is seen when folders are closed. Often in the longer delay cases (those over 30 seconds) the cursor switches to a spinning colored ball. These delays make the history sidebar unuseable on this machine. This pretains to the wednesday 13-novemember build, in which the sidebar is enabled by default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open sidebar 2. Click the history tab to show the history 3. Click on any disclosure triangle, especially those on folders from previous days. 4. Witness the long wait and spinning colored ball. 5. Click the disclosure triangle again 6. Witness another long wait. Actual Results: Really long delays, program hangs and ignores other input, spinning colored ball. Expected Results: Possible slight delay when first showing history sidebar that day, accompanied by disk activity. Program will still respond to input. From that point on, openning and closing folders via the disclosure triangles should be just as fast as doing the same in one of the list views in the finder. Build 13 november. History sidebar enabled by default. 20-30 second delays make history sidebar completely unuseable.

i think i addressed this. we were getting out of sync as things were added but not tracked in the outline, and that really confused rdf. try tomorrow's build.
