User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 First I go to a secure website (I tried https://www.equifax.ca/), then open Page Info->Security (by clicking on the lock icon in the lower-right). Next I click the View button, which brings up the Certificate Viewer. Next I click the Details tab, expand the Validity item under Certificate Fields, and select Not Before. Finally, I contract the Validity item by clicking the arrow icon. This will lock up my computer, maxing out my CPU usage. (I don't know if this terminates -- I've let it go for about 2 minutes before killing the process via Task Manager.) If this exact sequence doesn't get the bug for you, try monkeying around with those tree nodes in the Certificate Fields box. I've replicated this numerous times, with various sequences of action. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Oops -- look at details. Actual Results: lock up, CPU usage = 100% for some indefinite period of time

John, which branch are you refering to?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.2) Gecko/20021201 Netscape/7.01
Thanks, John. I think this is a dupe. We had fixed this in the past, but the fix probably did not land on the 1.0 branch.
Dupe of bug 180033. Should this be checked into the branch?

worksforme I believe we have fixed this long ago, but I can't find the bug at the moment. Please reopen if you are still able to reproduce with more recent versions of Mozilla
