Steps to reproduce:

I notice that once in a while, meeting reminders show up late. For example, today I received a reminder for a 11:20 appointment at 10:57 or so, when I was supposed to receive it at 10:50.

This doesn't happen often, but when it does, I notice that it's because Thunderbird's internal clock seems to lag.

In the calendar, there is a red line that is supposed to show the current time, When I get late reminders, the red line is not showing the current time. For example, in the instance I mention above, the line showed before 11:00AM when the current time was 11AM.

Actual results:

I get a reminder window later than expected
When it happens, the line showing the current time is not up to date
This is not a regular occurrence but is problematic when important events are scheduled

You can see an example in the screenshot. It was taken at 11:09 but the red line still shows 11:00. I would say it's a display issue, but because reminders don't show up when expected, I'm not sure it is.

Expected results:

The reminder should always be shown on time
