Application Services would like to pull artifacts from the NSS CI for Mac & windows machines rather than trying to cross-compile it and having to upload the resulting artifact into S3.

Allowing static builds on the NSS CI will:

• Simplify our build process
• Allow us to easily update and use NSS for non-linux machines
