Steps to reproduce:

Navigate to https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/channel/desktop/#beta
Attempt to sign up for newsletter using a normal email address

Actual results:

Email was never sent

Expected results:

I should have received an email confirming my sign up to the Firefox Newsletter. The same thing also happened on Firefox Dev Edition when attempting to sign up for the Developer Newsletter.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Cloud Services::Server: Firefox Accounts' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

The immediate emails that come from signing up to our newsletters are about confirming your email address. If you've already signed up for a newsletter in the past and confirmed then, you won't be asked to do it again. The welcome emails for specific newsletters go out much later due to how our system works and how much time it takes for data to sync to all of the right systems. Hopefully you will get something soon. If you don't please let me know the email address with which you signed up and I will investigate further.

I haven't signed up for a Firefox newsletter in the past, but I haven't received the 'confirm email address' email yet nor the email for the specific newsletter. I tried to sign up on both q35ra0ddv@mozmail.com and my personal email but neither received anything, if that helps.

I still haven't received anything so I'm certain the newsletter sign-up is broken.

I can't seem to reproduce the missing email behaviour here.

I tested the form linked in the description with a freshly generated email address, and I received the confirmation email OK within a few seconds.

I tried both English and German and got localised emails for both languages.

Can you please try using a freshly generated email? (https://relay.firefox.com/ offers a few aliases for free which can be useful for testing)

It might also be worth checking your spam folder perhaps

Works now, created a new email mask and received the sign-up. Puzzled why this didn't work before though. Thanks!

That is puzzling. I did look up the email address you gave us in Comment 3 and it is not in the system. Some major hiccup must have happened but I don't see anything in our errors that matches. Please let us know if you have any future issues. Thanks for the report.
