18014 - [PP] Alert dialogs have white "edit box" obscuring text.

Alert/error dialogs display with a white area the size of an edit box which
overlays and obscures the alert text.

Some instances:

1.  Mail login password error.
2.  Cancel news message other than your own posting.

This has been around awhile, didn't find a bug logged.

Using 1999-11-04-08m11 commercial build on mac OS 8.5.1

reassign to danm. If you refresh the dialog it draws properly so I am guessing
that after the resize call we generating a refresh event. Could also be a gecko
problem

I expect a good pounding for closing a bug with so many duplicates, but I can't 
reproduce this problem today. I do remember seeing it before, in older builds. 
Seems ok today, though, and I've tried the steps from a couple of duplicate bugs, 
too. If you, whoever you are, reopen it, perhaps using steps from one of the many 
duplicates, please include specifics in this bug report.

I have not seen this in a while. Cannot reproduce using current builds.  Marking
verified (worksforme) using 2000-02-11-12m14 commercial build, mac OS 9.0
