Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:107.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/107.0
Steps to reproduce:
I watched a video in one window and highlighting text in a second. Sometimes all windows will freeze and Firefox becomes unresponsive. It does not always happen, but very regularly. I narrowed it down to where it would only crash when I watch a video while using hardware acceleration.
Actual results:
All Firefox windows freeze, become unresponsive and I have to force kill them. When disabling hw accel it won't freeze.
I recorded a short video for demonstration. I'm able to reproduce it in about 30 seconds each try. (I'm highlighting text like a mad man to "brute force" the freeze, but it also randomly freezes when selecting text like a normal human.)

(freeze happens at 26s)
Expected results:
Not freezing

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Related / duplicate of 1800903. Bug with libx11 filed here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libx11/-/issues/168. Fix is also in the issue thread!

Thanks, it looks like an x11 issue for sure. Also, there is another bugzilla issue I didn't found https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1800903
